Meeting Transcriber
MeetingTranscriber is an AI-powered web application that allows users to record, upload, transcribe, and summarize meetings with ease. Designed for professionals and teams, the goal was to create a sleek, modern platform that simplifies meeting management while offering advanced export and organization features.
Research & Planning
Conducted research on existing transcription tools and identified gaps in user workflows, such as lack of real-time summarization and minimal UI/UX personalization. Used Trello to organize milestones, and gathered inspiration from user behavior patterns and productivity apps.
Design & Prototyping
Focused on building a visually engaging and mobile-first UI that emphasizes clarity and speed. Created interactive wireframes and polished high-fidelity mockups in Figma. The landing page and dashboard were enhanced with animations, parallax effects, and smooth scroll transitions for a professional and dynamic experience.
Development & Implementation
Developed a full-stack MERN application with custom authentication and AI integrations. Users can transcribe and summarize meetings using OpenAI, export data in PDF or Markdown, tag meetings with categories, and access version-controlled summaries. Deployed the backend on Render and frontend on Vercel, ensuring secure cross-platform performance.
